Catch up!
D&C are pleased because I have managed one night of sleeping all the way through.
I am currently lying on my back eating my own paw...a busy day ahead of me!

All the 'Vs'
Turns out we were heading to the vets and it was actually very nice! I got lots of pats and everyone thought I was lovely (which I am). I had my first vaccination and I didn't make a peep!
Came home and ran riot for half an hour and then I had visitors! M & J came to visit and I had lots of tummy rubs and cuddles. I didn't even widdle on them!
So there we are, vets and visitors. A day of Vs!

Day 5: How to make friends and eat things.
So, I'm getting much better at sleeping. Which is good as I'm getting quite a lot of practise. I'm not whining as much when we go up to bed as, to be honest, I'm fed up of having to entertain the humans!
Still on my 2 hourly wee breaks. I have a little bet with myself as to who will be taking me out. D was on duty last night, looking rather fetching in a bright pink velour dressing grown, fluffy hat, brown 'chav' coat and wellies. I shall have to try and get a photo.
So, today's blog title suggests that I have made some friends today. Firstly, I think I have had a bit of a breakthrough with Amber. She's quite aloof, but secretely likes me. We went and had a play in the garden today.
I also made friends with 'coat' and 'hat'. I recognised both of these from my late night wee breaks, but we'd not spoken before. I felt it was rude not to introduce myself.

Day 3: Dr What?
Our house got rather excited at 5.35 tonight. The box in the corner was switched on and the blonde one got rather excited and kept saying things like 'ooo I love The Tennant'.
Weird.
Anyway, I've had a good 24 hours really. Been out in the garden playing with Amber, learning lots of new things like the best places to hide from the humans :o)

Day 1 - I didnt sign up for this: Part 2
My new parents, D & C, thought that wearing me out before bedtime was a good idea and that I would then 'sleep' through the night.
We played the one game I'm good at. Fetch the Pheasant ------->>>
This was fun, because it meant I got lots of praise for essentially doing what is natural to most Spinone's. D&C are a bit 'special' I think.
Anyway, I digress.
Night time comes, I eat, I poop and I wee and then I am carried upstairs and put into my 'bed'. It is very comfy with a hot water bottle cunningly disguised in a Bagpuss teddy (I think D&C think that I think it's another puppy. I'm not a labrador, I'm not stupid).
So I cry and cry for half an hour and they ignore me.
How. Very. Dare. They.
So I went to sleep. 'Tough' I thought to myself, 'I'm not playing with them now'.
2am - I need a wee and the blonde one gets up and takes me out.
2.01am - I don't do any wee's outside. It's raining.
2.02am - I wee on the kitchen floor.
2.03am - I start to squat - the blonde one (now resembling a yeti in a 'chav coat' takes me outside.
2.04am - I get stage fright and can't go.
2.05am - I poo on the kitchen floor.
2.06am - I drink some warm milk.
2.09am - I can't settle and need a cuddle. I fall asleep and am put back in the cage.
4am - I need a wee and the dark haired one gets up this time. (I notice the blonde one has to dig him in the ribs though).
4.01am Outside for a quick wee and back to bed.
4.03am - 4.15am I whine and whine and whine.
6am - Time for another wee, which I do without incident.
6.02am back to bed and I whine and whine until 7am, when D&C finally get their lazy butts out of bed.
All in all a productive night.
Day 1 - I didn't sign up for this: Part 1
Whose idea was this then? Certainly not mine, I can tell you, though I do have many ideas....some of which will be detailed in this blog later....
I'm Millie. I was born on November 12th 2008 and that makes me 7 weeks and 2 days exactly. I'm a very posh and well-bred Italian Spinone, and my life has just gone MENTAL!!
So, you know, I popped out into the world, with my 12 other brothers and sisters and things were grand. I had these massive nipples to suck milk from, could pee anywhere and had constant warmth and attention.
Then we started getting lots of visitors and you oculd hear all the 'coo-ing' and 'cluck-ing' of people fawning over us....then yesterday.
Started like any other day, garden, play, food, toilet. Was just settling down for a nice nap on one of my sisters when the door opened and in came these 2 people.
To cut a long and incredibly dull story short, I was whisked away in a moving machine and brought to my 'new home' where I was taken into the garden (with all this green stuff....grass I think they called it) and introduced to my new friend, Amber.
Amber wasn't so fussed by my prescence. She seems much hairier than me, and is older. She didn't want to play, but we did lots of sniffing.
I had a busy day of weeing, eating, pooing and sleeping....then night time came....which will be left for another post!
