What a difference a year makes!

Well, what can I say but I've been lax. I apologise.

Actually, I dont. I've been far too busy having massive amounts of fun in my first year of life.

I have encountered the following:

  • Microchipping
  • Seasons
  • An Irish setter called Rusty
  • Beaches and sea
  • Horses and eating their toenail clippings
  • Cats (I like cats)
  • Chickens
  • Cat food
  • Cottage Pie stealing
To be honest, the list is endless, what a fabulous fun first year I have had.

Not much has changed, except I am bigger. I'm not much hairier, but I do have an impressively dirty beard. I help chop logs, and I bring the kindling in in my mouth. Apparently Im not meant to shred it all over the carpet, who knew?

So, I shall endeavor to keep on top of my blogging, I'm sure there will be much more excitement to come.

Oh, D cried when Tennant left, if that means anything to anyone?

Catch up!

Well it's been a while since I 'blogged'. It's getting harder to type because my paws are getting so huge. I'm a tall puppy now, and am in the process of learning to 'sit'.

D&C are pleased because I have managed one night of sleeping all the way through.

I am currently lying on my back eating my own paw...a busy day ahead of me!

All the 'Vs'

Today I went in the moving machine again....I was very chilled, enjoyed looking out of the window and listening to the radio.

Turns out we were heading to the vets and it was actually very nice! I got lots of pats and everyone thought I was lovely (which I am). I had my first vaccination and I didn't make a peep!

Came home and ran riot for half an hour and then I had visitors! M & J came to visit and I had lots of tummy rubs and cuddles. I didn't even widdle on them!

So there we are, vets and visitors. A day of Vs!

Day 5: How to make friends and eat things.

Good evening all, I'm catching up with my blog whilst D&C eat pizza. It smells quite nice, but i've been told 'Puppies don't eat pizza', which is a shame.

So, I'm getting much better at sleeping. Which is good as I'm getting quite a lot of practise. I'm not whining as much when we go up to bed as, to be honest, I'm fed up of having to entertain the humans!

Still on my 2 hourly wee breaks. I have a little bet with myself as to who will be taking me out. D was on duty last night, looking rather fetching in a bright pink velour dressing grown, fluffy hat, brown 'chav' coat and wellies. I shall have to try and get a photo.

So, today's blog title suggests that I have made some friends today. Firstly, I think I have had a bit of a breakthrough with Amber. She's quite aloof, but secretely likes me. We went and had a play in the garden today.

I also made friends with 'coat' and 'hat'. I recognised both of these from my late night wee breaks, but we'd not spoken before. I felt it was rude not to introduce myself.

I had a nice lie on the sofa this afternoon....I can't quite jump up onto it yet, so I need a lift from the human, but when I'm up there I enjoy trying to find things to eat...such as remote controls and cushions.

So, a productive day today. Must log off now, I've missed University Challenge.

Day 3: Dr What?

Our house got rather excited at 5.35 tonight. The box in the corner was switched on and the blonde one got rather excited and kept saying things like 'ooo I love The Tennant'.

Weird.

Anyway, I've had a good 24 hours really. Been out in the garden playing with Amber, learning lots of new things like the best places to hide from the humans :o)

Last night was much more peaceful. This is me in my crate. I have a Bagpuss (no chocolate biscuits though) that cunningly conceals a hot water bottle...very nice for snuggling up against. I still woke up for wees every 2 hours, and it was the dark haired one that sorted me out....the blonde one had 'a headache' apparently. I settled nicely though, so I'm told, which was...well....nice.

Haven't I got a lovely tummy?? ------------------>>>>>>>>

Right, time for another nap......did someone mention Eurovision??
